Scott Silverston is the founder of and primary guide and activity leader for Kauai Hiking Adventures. Scott has lived on Kauai since 1999 and is a National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) Certified Outdoor Skills and Ethics Trainer and Leave No Trace (LNT) Instructor. Scott has traveled extensively and led back and front country trips in a wide variety of ecosystems throughout the world.

Scott is the author of Voices of the Earth, An Oracle of the Web of Life, a shamanic oracle book designed to help the reader achieve self-empowerment by becoming more aligned with the spirits of nature. One of the focuses of Scott's work is to help people refine their direct connection with the natural world so that they can more easily access the silent knowledge that is universally available to all.

Before moving to Kauai, Scott served as a director of a major international trade finance company in New York City. He received a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Duke University and a degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from the California College of Ayurveda.

Scott is a lover of natural beauty who spends his free time exploring Kauai's garden paradise and who enjoys sharing his adventures with interesting people from around the world. I invite you to come and join me in exploring a Kauai rarely seen by visitors.
